He brings a strong business and management background and a palate for fine food,Originally Global Coffee Solutions (GCS) started out as a merger of two smaller Wollongong coffee companies in 2000 with a total workforce of 15. It was originally called National Coffee Distributors and started roasting its own brand, "Lazumba." It soon secured exclusive rights for several machinery brands including Melitta/Cafina, Futurmat and Jura. It also added several non-exclusive brands including Macap grinders, Stentorfield and Bianchi vending machines along the years. It changed its name in 2004 to Global Coffee Solutions. In 2004 we rolled out 750 Cafina machines for McDonalds which firmly solidified our position as the market leader in super automatics. Subsequently the work force grew to around 70 employees. Since then we have rolled out coffee machine programmes for Hungry Jacks, 7/Eleven, KFC, Oporto, Red Rooster, Sydney Convention Centre, Ikea, Costco, KPMG and the list goes on. We have also added to the product range with a premium coffee brand "Volere" and also a vending range with "Concerto". GCS services machinery and sells parts to distributors and service agents for the equipment it provides.
